3D Constructions / Paper Craft
Instructions 46 KB PDF file Download
If you're not familiar with paper toys or constructions, these instructions will help you get started.

Designs for Teachers
Basic Solids 18 KB PDF file Download
My original target audience was teachers of geometry looking for visual aids for teaching the formulae of volume. Only three so far, but I'm hoping to add to this soon. There are lines with letters for the variables used in calculating volume. My letters might be slightly different from what you use, but the math is still the same.
Basic Solids [Uncolored] 18 KB PDF file Download
The same constructions for Geometry Teachers, but without the coloring. You can use these if you're printing on colored paper or just don't like the colors I chose. (NOTE: The picture to the left is the same as for above because the models are the same design. Your colors can vary with the uncolored designs depending on the color of paper you use.)

Designs for Fun
Decorated Solids 150 KB PDF file Download
A cube as a die, a pyramid as ... well ... a pyramid, and a cone as a Birthday Hat. Perhaps I could have colored these in a little differently, but they should be a great start for those just starting with paper toys.

Mother's Day Party Hats 23 KB PDF file Download
Throwing a party for Mom? These hats could be great for the kids. Simply print, cut out, overlap the large tabs and staple together. Large tabs also allow you to adjust the size of the party hat. Cut a long rubber band and staple the ends and the kids can keep the hats on. Several colored designs included.
More Realistic Pyramid 456 KB PDF file Download
Based on the pyramid from the solids above, but this one uses a picture from the actual Great Pyramid in Giza, Egypt. Print on good paper and assemble. Just watch out for coatings on photo paper which make it hard to glue surfaces. I used cardstock and changed my printer settings to high resolution to get the results you see.

Disclaimer: The webmaster is more of a designer than a builder. The pictures above are of models I built myself ... some of them rather quickly. When time permits I may work on better looking models. The designs are fine, it's just a matter of cutting and scoring more carefully so the glued surfaces match up better. I also need some place now to store all these models. Maybe a paper shelf???
